Healthy Ramblin...What it's Like When You are High on Chocolate Covered Expresso Beans.

1500 Miles or 28 hours
by neverenoughtime and her Bro

Passing through Chicago with my Brother by my side
going crazy, driving, driving
Route 80, what a drag it is getting old
Rollingstones...........
I wish he'd stop singing
stop...stop...
going crazy

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else
high water...what did that sign say??
Pass me that Bible
and throw away the doobie

There's my Jeep!
It's black, black as night
Take that hardtop off
Let the wind go through your hair
Hey it passed the Hemi??

Going to the Port of Indiana
Sailing on the black sea
thump, thump, thump

Trivia.......
"Well, I've got nipples, can you milk me?"
Ben Stiller is your clue

We waved at some Sassiekitty
sailing first West then East
Who makes a grown man cry
and some man who can't get no satisfaction...

I wanna be your knight in shining armor
and come to your emotional rescue
I've been walkin in Central Park
Signing after dark
People think I'm Krazyyyy.......

Nothin on my feet
shufflin through the street
asking people...tic..tic..tic..
what's the matter with you boy?

If I could stick my hand in my heart
and spill it out all over the stage
would it satisfy
BUT I guess, I'm lying to myself
cause I just won't get you child

Sanity...Sanity...SanityInn Wind
I missed you Friday Night
So instead, I guess we'll just sing
Wooooooo Black Betty Bamalamb
Betty had a child
and that child was wild
Sweet Child of Mine

So I had to get my Gun
and lay my black roses
on my son

Is this fantasy or is this reality
Look into my eyes and see
that noone knows what it's like to
be a sad woman..to be a bad woman
behind blue eyes

To telling lonely lies
But my dreams, they aren't as empty as my conscience
seems to be

Mile marker 51
Ground Control to Major Tom
You're just sittin on a sack of seeds
waving down all the weeds
Pass the Bong, and sing a song so I may get back some
Insanity....

We passed a burning truck today
we hope that the driver got away
but if he didn't
then we pray that he went quickly on his way

But on that stairway to heaven
you can't bring along
Mr. Saturday Night Special
that's got a barrell that's blue and gold
cause it's good for nothin
cept put a man six feet in the hole

Ashhhh-hole
Still pondering the answer?
maybe you ought to "Meet the Fockers."

And while you are there
you might notice
the light in the window
in the crack in the sky
so look out Chicken Little
cause the sky is really fallin

Your Mama told you....
you're not supposed to talk to strangers
Look in the mirror
You tell me...do you think your life's in danger?
No more tears
for fears

Cause all of the seasons
and all of the days
are all of the reasons
that I feel this way for you it's true

Healthy Ramblins
to try to stay awake
so sell your kids for food
weather changes moods
Little Will likes all our pretty songs
and he likes to sing along
and he likes to shoot his gun
but he don't know what it means
cause it's just nothing but healthy ramblins

She didn't know
that just because
a silly sign
that said..Notre Dame
in Indiana really isn't the
Notre Dame she thinks it is -ha ha

So what else is there to see
said the sign
so....Simon said
Big Wheels Keep on Turnin
Carry me to my kin
so just turn it up
and take notice

Hey, Mr. Trucker
Mr. Trucker Man
Emergency stopping only
and fines are doubled
in Construction Zones

Ergo, you might be Mishawaka home
Get it??
Yeah..Get it??
Yeah, but not enough....

What a drag...we're only
a half a tank away from
Iowa with four tanks and a half to go

Ohhhhh..He had to say this
Hopefully it's just good mileage
with the wind on our backs
and a whole world yet to go.

So....take notice
it's Bitter Sweet Road
No...really Rd.

Wooooo, what happened
did we get sucked into space??
Now I know why they call them Reststops
But, aren't we supposed to feel rested?

Cleo..Princess Cleo
You're such a good dog
Sheppard and a Basanji
One who obeys and the other whom does not
Open that window
there is a haze of dog hair

She got a ticket to ride
but she don't care
Ma Baby don't care

Lake Erie
How erie it was to approach you in the dark of night
now the sun is shinin
and you're so cleary
not the water, but the sky...Lake Erie

He was a boogy woogy bugle boy
a Company Bee
Oh no no no
I DON'T THINK SO

three hours until home
my did we roam
Congratulations Jeffrow
You did it, and we are proud
What happened to that two year old boy?
You've become such a mature young man
Don't get caught up in the present
strive to achieve your dreams

and remember...we are always here for you
don't forget your family
We Love You!

Something to Ponder

I Can Accept Myself as a Vibrational Being
By Esther and Jerry Hicks
Once you begin to accept yourself as a Vibrational Being who attracts all things that come into your experience...once you understand the correlation between what you are receiving...you then hold the keys to get from whereever you are to wherever you want to be, on all subjects.

I Have the Ability to Direct My Own Thoughts

By Esther and Jerry Hicks

You have the option of observing things as they are, or of imagining them as you want them to be-and whichever option you choose, your thoughts produce a vibration within you that equals your point of attraction, and then circumstances and events line up to match the vibrations that you have offered.

An Empty Feeling Is Telling Me Something Important

By Esther and Jerry Hicks

A negative feeling indicates that your current choice of thoughts is out of harmony with your Source Energy that you are disallowing your full connection to that Energy Stream. (You could say that your fuel tank is approaching empty.) Your emotions do not create, but they do indicate what you are currently attracting.

Liam and Jacob

Swish Jr was certainly happy to spend some time, his first time, in CNY. Let's hope he was as happy as Jacob was at the sight of a new baby. Kids really love kids.

Kids do not like the cold, as the photo above shows. The next time we visit CNY, we'll bring some nice weather for the little ninos. Also, I should have sat everyone down for some real photos. I've not one shot of Liam and Uncle Adam together! Remember, y'all are welcome to come on down to Sunny FL to visit us as well. However, we do not promise that we will come to Disney World with you. Don't feel bad b/c we aren't making that promise to anyone.

Happy Mother's Day

It was such a pretty Mother's Day today. We spent the day at Sycamore Hill Gardens in Marcellus, New York. It is a private estate that only opens to the public on Mother's Day. Because we had a warm spell, most of the daffodils were past their time. Other than that, everything was spectacular. Most of the Gardens contained Asian Statues, some mythological which are my favorite. We meandered past the sycamore tree in front of the estate that was hundred and hundred of years old, the nursery, the bell garden, the koi pond, the island, the Dragon Pagoda, the fairy woods, hawthorne grove, the Maze, the list goes on and on. If one is in New York around Mother's Day, it's well worth the visit. Bring a picnic lunch because you will find many hidden nooks. I've posted some of my photos here and some of my favorite to the right. The kids should sleep well tonight from all the fresh air; therefore, I know I will! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Treasure your past

I loved your post Swish. Little snippets of my childhood past crossed my mind when I read this. Thank God for the friends of the past, and all the memories. They helped build the person we are today. This also brings to mind an article I read about children and how they develop friendships: http://www.bbc.co.uk/parenting/your_kids/primary_friends.shtml. Thank you for this Blog. Adam & I - if we were born in NYC

This looks like the tee pees Adam & I used to build and the sycamores we may have built them around, except that it's along Riverside Drive around 86th St, in NYC.

Kids will find a way to play in nature no matter where they live. All that is left out of this picture is Judy Park cooking us a tater tots and grilled cheese lunch! That was the only way to get us out of the woods. Yum...

The Grand City

Here are some of our favorite pics of NYC. We love the City. There is so much to do and see. The pictures are of Nick and Spidey in Times Square, Trump towers, Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, FAO Swartz, and the kids on top of the Empire State Building. Our funniest memory is of Nick falling into a fountain and how he reeked of pigeon feces. He can laugh about it now. We told the kids not to bend over so far and touch the water...and well, he learned his lesson. Got a new outfit out of it too.

God works in Wonderous Ways

Oh Jen,

The news you gave today was sad, so sad, but yet, it also brought with it, joy and hope. The power to turn a frown into a smile came with this bad news, and for this we should rejoice.

Not too long ago a little kitty came to your house unannounced and unexpected. She came into your home like she lived there, was welcomed by your other pets as if she had always been there. Even Rocky, the ferocious feline, welcomed her as a sister. That little kitty loved and cuddled with your children as if they needed it more than she.

Funny too, how much she looks like a cherished cat from your past too, almost as if to prevent in you, the slightest doubt, whether to keep her or not. You were also tested a few days later, when yet another little stranger showed up at your door. This one was wild and weak, but yet you took her in too and gave her the love you would your own child. You did this even though you knew that little rabbit would most likely not survive. But you gave her warmth and love to help her pass, far better than to lay outside alone in the cold, her mother lost and never coming back. You Sister, took in this creature because she asked you to, by ending up at your door.

Now today God has revealed His plan. Poor Rocky, the ferocious feline was struck down by a car. Maybe he knew it was his time, so much so, he loved the new kitty just like your family. He may have been waiting, for God had commanded. God knew how much Rockies loss would bring pain and remorse. God knew the suffering would be hard to bear, so He sent that little one to help repair. God also tested you to see if you were worthy. You and your family did show to God that you try to live as He has commanded so He knew you were ready.

Jen I'm so sorry for your loss today!

Pat
