I am copying this from another's post, but it spoke so truthfully...I had to share:

As long as you are kind and there is love in your heart, a thousand hands will naturally come to your aid. As long as you are kind and there is love in your heart, you will reach out with a thousand hands to help others

To Pete and Stacy:

Such an honor beyond comprehension. We will ponder what you have asked of us. It is such a great honor Pete and Stacy. Your precious one will be loved and cared for forever and ever. He is growing so big, so fast. You are wonderful parents for Liam. God Bless you good friends. Love, Jen and Adam.

Checking In!!

Hi
I'm trying to work this thing without much success!
I'm looking forward to our weekend at Beth's - hope you are.
We are both so busy - I rarely get a chance to talk to you or anyone.
I have photos of the kids - but I don't know how to work this blog thingy.
I'm also thinking this would be a great resource for the center!?
Your help would be great - and I love all the info. that you have gathered.
I'm on my computer every night for work and this is a great way for us to keep
in touch. Let me know what you think.
Love - Shanti (Peace)

Last Picnic of the Summer

Jake on the left didn't want the water balloon to pop. The two little ones just kept passing it between them until the other boy couldn't resist and threw it at Jake. It would then pop on the ground and poor Jake would be so upset. LOL

Bree's First Day of School

Brianna's First Day of School went so smooth. She was so happy to be there, so grown up. It made her Mom very proud. She went right to her locker, placed her backpack inside and went to greet her Teacher. The next day was the first day she rode the school bus. Her bus driver asked whether she wanted to ride in the front, but she chose the middle with her brother. When her friend got on the bus, she sat with her. When they arrived at the school, the Kindergartners were the first to exit and enter the school. Nick was talking with his cousin and did not notice this. When he finally realized that the bus had stopped, he looked around for his sister and she was nowhere to be found. He panicked and went to the bus driver asking..."HAVE YOU SEEN MY SISTER?" She smiled and said, "Don't worry Nick, she went in the school and walked to her classroom. He was supposed to walk her, but she managed to get there on her own. That's my girl!!

We ran out of room!!!

We came to the realization that we would not have the room for even another book..pillow..blanket..JAKE ?!?!

How could this be? We packed up our car and camper when we left for our trip and we were okay. On our return; however, we realized that we just didn't have the room. Oh well...Jake is brave. He can handle the wind in his hair, the bugs, the occational bird and the sudden turns. We even thought to have him hold a light in case it started to get dark on our way home. He was honest and up front and said, "Yeah, Yeah, I wanna ride up there." So, what the heck...why not.

We then asked if the other two wanted to join him and they both just looked at us is dismay. "No way," they both replied. Okay, so we only have to worry about one of our children when they reach puberty. Yeah...no surprise there for those that know him.

We love this picture. It was a joke of course. We were leaving Watkins Glen State Park when we took it on Labor Day Weekend. The kids had a blast with friends. Oh, and btw....Jake is okay. He survived. We ended up making some room between his brother and sister who both whined and complained for an hour and a half. Hope you all enjoy this picture as do I. Peace! Jen
